Huntington Castle & Gardens

Huntington castle was built in 1625 and is the ancient seat of the Esmonde family. Now lived in by the Durdin Robertsons – decendants of the Esmondes – the castle is open to the public for guided tours, private bookings and B&B accommodation. The Castle also enjoys extensive grounds and gardens and has an excellent collection of rare trees and shrubs including over ten national champion trees. The Castle tearooms serve locally baked cakes and treats and the bed and breakfast offering won the Georgina Campbell award for best B&B breakfast in 2020.
